Auto req ID: 287385BR Job Description JOB PURPOSE As Control & Reporting Assoc Supervisor, your role is to perform routine daily accounting tasks with accuracy and completeness and on time. To reconcile, compile, analyses data, carry out surprise audits and process data. Work with the head office S2C finance team to accomplish objectives. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES Ensure revenue and volume reporting accuracy and timeliness in line with GAAP and IFRS principles and standards. Monitor and track the actual spend of discount & allowances and marketing spends vs last year and plans as well. Complete sales commission on time, obtain approvals and forward to payment function to process, and Prepare sales commission accrual on time for book close. Review SAP GL balance for Revenue Accounts and prepare GL vs Sub-ledger reconciliation, obtain S2C Controllers approval. Review credit notes for completeness and status versus plan and activity sheets, fixed and variable LTA availability, review for SOA approval requirements prior to processing. Complete tracking sheet by customer, LTA and Activities. Forward soft copies of applied credit notes to DC finance for application in MEA SD. Park duly approved credit notes in SAP. Review bank reconciliations and ensure completeness. Review with S2C controller and obtain authorization. Documents are files in appropriate files in order. Know the OTC P&P and COSO requiems of S2C. Compile D&A related COSO testing reports. Back up credit control accountant as and when required. Support Revenue Analyst with data analysis, sales reporting and other D&A related evaluations and reporting. Review MEA SD credit transactions for completeness of credit application and appropriateness o f references. Effective execution of Control: Understand the objective of the control - Ongoing Document the test script attributes for effective execution of the control - As necessary Evaluate the effectiveness of the control through testing - Quarterly/As necessary Maintain an audit trail to evidence execution of the activities, sufficient to enable reperformance by independent 3rd party – Ongoing Remediate any control deficiency - As necessary Provide results of verification - As necessary
