Performance Drilling Engineer

<p>Location: Saudi Arabia</p>

<p>Project Period: 6 months</p>

<p>JOB SUMMARY:</p>

<p>&bull; Maintain and continuously improve company standards<br />
<br />
&bull; Review well design proposals and offset data including identification of technical risk.<br />
<br />
&bull; Review and critique drilling and work over programs to ensure plans are clear, realistic and robust. Provide feedback to all drilling programs in a formal manner. Ensure that equipment specified in the drilling program is suitable for the application.<br />
<br />
&bull; Utilise well planning software to determine rig requirements and assess feasibility of drilling proposed wells.<br />
<br />
&bull; Visit the well-site and company offices as required for key meetings and briefings and to provide on-going support and guidance.<br />
<br />
&bull; Finalize 3 well performance drilling operation successfully in Saudi Arabia for Aramco- Onshore Job.</p>

<p>&bull; Ensure, contractual performance-related KPIs are monitored and progress against KPIs is reported on a regular basis (i.e. 3 wells final reports)</p>

<p>&bull; Ensure that operations and drilling engineering work is performed in line with client standards</p>

<p><br />
&bull; Facilitate the Major Operational Failure (MOF) process to ensure that the procedure is followed and all MOFs are robustly investigated.<br />

<br />
&bull; Provide assistance as necessary to help generate performance improvement plans for any rigs or operations deemed to be at risk.<br />
<br />
REQUIREMENTS:</p>

<p>Strong knowledge/familiarity with upstream oil and gas industry.</p>

<p>Experienced in mud motor BHA and mud motor field operation and at least 3 years' experience in Directional Drilling field operation.</p>

<p>Fluent in English (written and spoken), Arabic would be an additional asset</p>
