Their high impact programmes work with disadvantaged young people and communities, providing tangible opportunities and support that enables them to thrive, whilst driving systemic change in organisations and society. The Programmes Manager role has been created as a result of the charity's exponential growth in the last year - the charity has recently doubled the size of their team to increase their capacity to engage with the community and provide an enhanced experience for their growing pool of beneficiaries.</p><p> </p><p>The Programmes Manager will deputise for the Head of Programmes. The roles will manage a portfolio of funded programmes spanning across either - Building Careers and Supporting Communities programmes. You will also line manage the programmes team and lead their professional development plan. The programmes manager will also be responsible for leading programmes partnerships selection, holding some key programmes partnerships relationships. You will collaborate with the Head of Programmes to create and implement the programmes strategy and you will also be the organisation's deputy safeguarding lead. Producing funding bids and proposals; overseeing programme impact evaluations, external reporting and ensuring continuous improvement will also be key aspects of the role.</p><p>We're looking for a collaborative and strategic Programmes Manager with strong organisation skills to support the charity's ongoing growth. You will have extensive programme/project management experience as well as proven experience of programmes facilitation and delivery. You will have excellent communication and teamworking skills and have the ability line manage different groups of people. Strong IT skills, including the use of Microsoft Office is essential.
