Certified Lifting Person (LOLER)

<b> Overview / Responsibilities </b><br><br><b>Certified Lifting Person (LOLER) - Hull (Site Based) </b> <br><br> Wood Process & Energy are seeking an experienced Certified Lifting Person with demonstrable Offshore & Onshore expertise to support a Rough Gas Storage Facility project for a duration of 12 months. <br><br>The appointed Lifting Person will review and approve subcontractors lifting plans and manage all lifting operations, including self-performed lift operations. <br><br><b> Main Responsibilities: </b><br><ul><li> Audit and assure compliance to the project and client processes and procedures </li><li> Manage and agree any changes to lift plans are necessary, documented and formally recorded / re-approved </li><li> Audit contractors rigging loft and management thereof </li><li> Site review of execution compliance and plan matches action on site </li><li> Monitor contractors performance against plan </li><li> Verify calculations and weight estimates are accurate and appropriate in contractor lift plans </li><li> Audit training and competency of contractors operatives </li><li> Guidance and input in to contractor lifting constructability reviews </li><li> Review and comment on contractors lift plans </li><li> Audit 3 rd party crane suppliers equipment and personnel </li><li> Input and direction to contractors heavy lift sub-contractor </li><li> Lead site safety conversations and formal audits with contractors operatives </li></ul><br><br><b> Skills / Qualifications </b><br><br><ul><li> Demonstrable experience in a similar construction role </li><li> CPCS A61 Appointed Person (Blue Card) </li><li> ECITB Moving Loads Appiinted Person stage 3/4 </li><li> NVQ level 3 </li><li> A40 slinger/signaller </li><li> Lifting Equipment Inspection </li><li> Rigging Loft Management </li><li> Managing Working at Height </li><li> Harness training </li><li> ISSOW </li><li> CCNSG Safety Passport </li></ul> <br><br><b> Company Overview </b><br><br>Wood is a global leader in engineering and consultancy across energy and the built environment, helping to unlock solutions to some of the world's most critical challenges.
