You would be supporting the business in the UK from our Claremont office in Cape Town Requirements A vacancy has arisen for an Internal Recruiter To support the recruitment activity for one or more of our businesses across the UK working closely with the Recruitment Team and Hiring Managers to identify a selection of potentially suitable candidates for vacant roles To drive candidate engagement and action the most suitable in-house recruitment solution consists of accessing the pipeline of candidates, potential candidate CV searching, advertising internally and externally. The role is responsible for screening of candidates and carrying out first telephone / video interviews before recommending quality candidates to the recruiting Line manager for face to face interview, liaising with candidates and line manager throughout to conclusion keeping both fully informed. This role has the accountability for ensuring that the information is set up correctly on the in house recruitment trackers, Workday and Workable Do you have what it takes? If you want to be considered for this role you will need: QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS Matric with relevant tertiary education (preferable) Ability to juggle a number of priorities at once Demonstrated experience in customer focused roles Ability to effectively build relationships and communicate at all levels up to senior management. Have good IT skills, Strong communication both face to face and over the phone Good research skills Ability to build strong, positive relationships with all candidates & key stakeholders Proven track record working high volume recruitment campaigns Strong knowledge of Microsoft office and Google suite Ability to think creatively and identify different solutions or options as required Ability to work in a hybrid environment KEY WORK OUTPUTS and ACCOUNTABILITY Taking ownership of the recruitment process and advising managers on the current market and our recruitment processes Direct resourcing using job boards as well as social media Advertising various positions Shortlisting candidates and conducting telephone / video interviews Maintaining candidate relationships throughout the entire recruitment process Building internal relationships with line managers and stakeholders Build recruitment pipeline through various avenues, such as job fairs and business/candidate matching Assist in recruitment related projects and other recruitment requirements Ensure that the information is set up correctly on the in house recruitment trackers, Workday and Workable Manage Workable vacancies ensuring to disqualify unsuitable candidates and keeping the pool within required parameters Manage time to fill and cost per hire. Review recruitment progress with the Recruitment Team Leader by producing agreed monthly reports and any ad hoc reports Direct resourcing through job board searches and social media and monitor job postings to ensure each role is kept up to date and is in the correct business format Liaise with candidates to ensure they know the outcome of the application process – regret, liaise with line managers to ensure the candidates follow the process for job offer Ensure ATR’s (Authority to Recruit) are “live” and liaise with hiring managers to close any ATR’s that are not being actively sourced. Update job descriptions and advert templates in conjunction with relevant businesses Manage and organise the area recruitment providing and sharing all relevant information and documentation for new starters status with the HR team.
