Awarded in August 2022 to the Parsons Team, the TEAMS next Missile Defense Systems Engineering contract has a three-year base period plus four one-year options that should take the period of performance through the end of 2028 into 2029. The primary purpose of this contract is to provide outstanding systems engineering services vital for MDA mission success at multiple locations around the world. Venturi, LLC, a Chenega company, has a challenging and interesting career opportunity for an Cybersecurity Evaluation Support Engineer who will play a key role in supporting critical Missile Defense Agency missions on the TEAMS Next Missile Defense Systems Engineering contract. This individual will support MDS capability development and processes required for subsystem interoperability including performance impacts on MDS cybersecurity resiliency and survivability strategy. Responsibilities Work you’ll do As a Cybersecurity Evaluation Support Engineer within our TEAMS Next Missile Defense Systems Engineering team, you will: Identify cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and risks and improveme defensive cyber operations and strengthening MDS cyber capabilities Apply thorough understanding of Risk Management Framework controls and DoD Security Technical Implementation Guide requirements to assist Element engineering offices with integrating system-level cyber requirements into Element designs and support testing events (i.e. CTTX, GT, DT/OT events) Support MDS Element cyber teams with evaluating the effectiveness of MDS cyber capabilities Support the Cyber working group and system engineering groups and board for Technical and Operational Capacity Baseline decisions Qualifications Required: MS degree in STEM area and 12+ years direct experience Understanding of MDA/MDS systems engineering, requirements development, and/or system assessment Knowledge of and experience in MDA test planning and execution and evaluation/analysis of data resulting from test events Knowledge of and past experience in implementing and evaluating RMF controls for weapons systems Experience in characterization of cyber risks and executing CVTs, ACDs, CVIs, AAs, and CVPAs Experience with system authorization processes and blue and red team penetration testing techniques Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate technical information to senior MDA leaders Active secret clearance The position requires a COVID vaccination or an approved accommodation/exemption for a disability/medical condition or religious belief Preferred: Undergradute degree in computer science, computer hardware engineering, Information Security & Assurance, or Information Technology Management Understanding of SharePoint and MKO 4.0 site management An active or ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance How you’ll grow At Chenega MIOS, our professional development plan focuses on helping our team members at every level of their career to identify and use their strengths to do their best work every day.
