Insurance benefits within ONE MONTH of hire 3 Months: Paid holidays, and 401k with partial match 6 months: PAID vacation days SUMMARY: Responsible for all activities associated with running the knife and assisting in wet-end and dry-end operations, including setup, operation, cleanup, and recommending improvements to operations. JOB DUTIES: Sets up and operates machine that slits, scores, and cuts sheets of plain, laminated, or corrugated paperboard to specified dimensions: Positions and fastens scoring and cutting disks on roller, according to specifications, and installs roller in machine, using hand tools. Turns wheels to adjust cutter knives, align paper guides, and adjust pressure on slitting and cutting disks. Starts machine and synchronizes speed of traveling cutoff knives with speed of machine feed. Verifies dimensions of cut-scored blanks with work order, using tape rule. May cut samples from sheets for testing. Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety and maintaining good housekeeping. Additional duties may be assigned by management.
