Maintenance Operator

Our Benalla manufacturing site is located in regional Victoria, 2.5 hours north of Melbourne’s CBD. Close to ski fields, wine regions, hiking trails, rivers and campgrounds, there is plenty to see and do. For over 40 years we have held operations at this site, producing transformers and kiosks to service a large domestic market. Based at our plant in Benalla, we have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Operator to join our high-performing team and perform the first level of maintenance of machinery, in building or facility systems Specific responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Multi-skilled worker, responsible for predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance for production/manufacturing equipment in an entity. Repair equipment in case of breakdown. Elaboration and application of standardized processes and plans to ensure safety, quality, service/availability, and cost. Strong contributor to continuous improvement Identify and express to the Team Leader any risks regarding health and safety. Ensure the consistency of the information in the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) Ensure maintenance levels 1,2& 3 are carried out as defined for the work area, process, equipment or machines You are a highly driven individual seeking to work with a value-based organisation whose solutions are leading edge. In addition, you possess the following relevant skills and attributes Lower or Higher Level Professional Education in Electronics, Mechanical or Electromechanics exposure looked at favorably 1-2 years experience in a Machine maintenance work environment. Knowledge of Office computing tools Good communication skills (Activities will require interacting with Subcontractors & Operators.)
