<div class="mds-edited-text mds-font-body-copy-bulk"><p><b>In its 40th anniversary year Phoenix Dance Theatre, one of the UK’s leading contemporary dance companies, is seeking new Trustees.</b></p>
<p>Our Chair, Delia Barker, is seeking a group of peers from across sectors to come together to shape and drive the future of one of the UK’s most culturally significant companies.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>The past two years have been incredibly tough for Phoenix, as they have been for the whole sector. From dealing with the profound impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic and the killing of George Floyd through to managing changes in leadership, the team have been working hard.&nbsp;</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>You will join us at a moment of pause and reflection as we re-group, re-focus and get ready to kick-start the next forty years.&nbsp;</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>In recognition of the responsibility of the Trustee role at this pivotal moment we will support you to do your best with us.&nbsp; We will&nbsp;create a peer network through a programme of&nbsp;training, action learning and culture and values building&nbsp;that will run alongside the governance responsibilities.</p>
