Could you make an important contribution to a vital service which positively improves the lives of people affected by a lack of mobility?</strong><br /> <br /> A unique opportunity has arisen for a Delivery Manager to join our Mobility Aids Service (MAS) based in Warmley, covering the greater Bristol area (such as Worcester, Swindon, Hereford, Quedgeley). <br /> <br /> In this role, you'll be responsible for supporting with the implementation and continuous improvement of our operating model in the service, which allows customers to access mobility items, such as wheelchairs, online and in person at our outlets.<br /> <br /> The MAS Delivery Coordinator is responsible for a team of Volunteer Coordinator and staff, ensuring a high standard of volunteer management and team leadership to create, supervise and support a service delivery team in each outlet.<br /> <br /> We envisage the successful candidate being based from the Warmley Hub, travelling to and from the Mobility Aids Service Spokes located in its geographical footprint. Please note that regular travel to sites across the area covered by the role will be required.<br /> <br /> <br /> <strong>We use kindness to help those in crisis...</strong><br /> <br /> The British Red Cross Mobility Aids Service are committed to ensuring that during a period of personal crisis everyone has access to the equipment they need, whoever and wherever they are.<br /> <br /> We offer hire and loan of wheelchairs and other mobility items, as well as training on how to properly use them.
