<b>Overview</b><br />
<br />
We are seeking a Mechanical Engineering specialized in Inspection Engineering to join SGPD department. To handle the increased work related to corrosion control and monitoring, Risk Based Inspection, Cathodic support in developing the high dement of corrosion control documents for facilities. Protection monitoring, review annual OSI data and initiate corrective actions. To handle work related to corrosion review of annual OSI data and initiate corrective actions on timely manner to avoid overdue in SAP-SAIF system.<br />
<br />
<b>Key Responsibilities</b><br />
<br />
Perform routine inspection, monitoring, auditing &amp; assurance of Contractor&
39;s site activities (Fabrication and Welding, NDT, Coating and Painting) in accordance with the Quality Plans.<br />
<br />
Ensure all the personnel employed and operating in welding and NDE activities is duly skilled and qualified in accordance with the applicable specifications, codes and regulations.<br />
<br />
Interpret and evaluate ofNDT Results, witnessing Hydro test, Pneumatic test and Post test Re-instatement<br />
<br />
Conversant with International Codes &amp; Standards like ASME, ASTM, AWS, API, ARAMCO, QP, SHELL / PDO and AGIP Specifications<br />
<br />
Ensure all pre-construction activities and qualification trials are witnessed and approved as necessary. Ensure the Inspection &amp; Test Plan of each activity is fulfilled and &quot;hold points&quot; of the company are completed in due time<br />
<br />
Audit, inspect equipment of Contractors. Advice and assist Contractors in maintaining and upgrading their equipment to ensure high quality job. Trouble shooting<br />
<br />
Supervise Piping Fabrication, Welding, Mechanical and Painting jobs (Construction &amp; Maintenance) in line with Project requirements<br />
<br />
Review and comment upon Contractors daily inspection records for activities covered and investigate any anomalies / queries<br />
<br />
Raise non-compliance reports where applicable and ensure satisfactorily closed out<br />
<br />
Repair follow-up, Conforming line check as per P&amp;ID, NDT clearance, Punch List preparation, follow up.<br />
<br />
<b>Minimum Requirements</b><br />
<br />
The successful candidate should<br />
<br />
Hold a Bachelor&
39;s degree in chemical engineering<br />
<br />
Have a minimum of 10 years&
39; experience in Oil &amp; Gas industry operating facilities<br />
<br />
Be able to timely handle corrosion and CP requests<br />
<br />
Be able to design packages and corrosion reviews<br />
<br />
Provide safe and adequate support, train/mentor new engineers from other organizations<br />
<br />
be able to propose and deploy corrosion improvement technologies/solutions and innovative ideas<br />
<br />
Have Fundamental Engineering (FE) and recommended to have a Professional Engineer (P.E.)<br />
<br />
Have API510API 570 Desired Qualifications&
39; 653 Working knowledge of the following construction codes and industry standards: ASME Section VASME Section VIIIASME B 31.3API 580API 581API 572NBICWork location: Midland<br />

Have membership with internationally recognized technical societies, preferably<br />
