Apprentice - Joinery / Building Preservation Edinburgh, UK Permanent, full-time role, Monday to Friday 8am-5pm Basic salary of £12,500 Reporting to our branch in Dunfermline. Wise Property Care is an award winning Scottish Company providing a host of different specialisms including damp proofing, wet rot, dry rot, structural repairs and Japanese knotweed treatment. Our customers are at the heart of everything we do and we build the business around them We are now looking to take on motivated, driven and practical Apprentices who are looking to learn trades such as Joinery, Damp Proofing and Building Preservation. There will be opportunities to broaden your skills set through a host of courses provided both internally and externally. We have recently been ranked

Day-to-Day you will learn and carry out tasks such as: Stripping and replacing timber floors, door frames, architraves, windows and doors They will also be learning how to install waterproof membranes, damp proof courses, carrying out treatments for woodworm, wet rot and dry rot. There is an element of plastering involved in this role so if you enjoy and want to develop your plastering skills this would be extremely advantageous Communicating with, shadowing and learning from Wise Property Care staff such as experienced Technicians and dynamic Area Sales Surveyors Meeting a wide range of Wise Property Care clients and customers to develop your communication and customer service skills Requirements The successful applicant will have a keen desire to learn a trade such as Joinery, Carpentry, and Building Preservation.
