Senior Project Engineer

Our oil and gas client are hiring a <b>Senior Project Engineer </b>on a long-term ltd company contract based in Farnborough, England.<br><br>  <br><br> EXPERIENCE      <br><br> •             Experience in Engineering/Project Engineering and Project Management <br><br> •             Oil and Gas experience<br><br> •             Experience of EPC's and Client Organisations<br><br> •             Experience of Execution lifecycle - FEED, Detailed Design and Construction<br><br>  <br><br> JOB DESCRIPTION<br><br>  <br><br><ul><li>Project Management assistance in the Delivery of the Project.</li><li>Coordinates and manages the Contractor on behalf of the Client.</li><li>Providing project leadership and steer project personnel.</li><li>Work closely with Project Manager, Client and Contract Management to help deliver EPC ITBs and answer/track EPC clarifications.</li><li>Ensuring that deliverables are completed and issued in accordance with the prime contract.</li><li>Develop and provide reports when required and monitors performance of Contractor from the Baseline Contract and schedule.</li><li>Participates in risk reviews and assists in monitoring/updating the risk register with Project Controls and Project Management.</li><li>Participates in the planning and scheduling of the scope for the project.</li><li>Monitors the Engineering and Construction progress, addresses shortfalls, reviews recovery plans where required and ensures plans are implemented. Provides feedback to Direct Supervisor and Contractor when required on the progress.</li><li>Ensures participation of the engineering team members in Project engineering reviews and assists in resolution of any issues arising out of the same.</li><li>Attends project review meetings and ensures that associated reports are compiled and distributed accordingly.</li><li>Ensures that interface issues between disciplines are addressed and seeks management advice and assistance where required.</li><li>Assists in the production of the project execution plan and helps develop  the coordination procedures for the project.</li><li>Provides progress monitoring and reporting against that plan.
