<b> Overview / Responsibilities </b><br><br>Wood has a potential opening for a Senior Operations / Project Manager to join our Conventional Energy Canada team in Sarnia, Ontario. <br><br><b> Responsibilities </b><br><br>Reporting to the Director Project Delivery, Conventional Energy Canada, the role involves two separate functions related to Wood's strategic initiatives to build our presence in Sarnia and service Energy and Petrochemical Clients in the region. The role is based in Sarnia, Ontario. <br><br>Operations Manager: <br><ul><li> Execute Wood's strategic growth plans for Sarnia operations. </li><li> Develop client engagement plans. </li><li> Responsible for managing the local Sarnia operation, including staffing, recruitment plans, facilities, and P&L. </li><li> Organize and lead Client sponsor meetings, planning sessions, and team building workshops. </li><li> Build relationships and establish work processes with Wood's Canadian Conventional Energy department managers in Calgary. </li><li> Establish rapport with other internal company stakeholders, including other local Wood business units in Sarnia. </li><li> Ensure that all work adheres to established Program / Project Management Plans and Client contract requirements </li><li> Coordinate shared and dedicated program resources. </li><li> Develop and implement program specific Key Performance Indicators. </li></ul><br> Project Manager: <br><ul><li> Execute EPCm program services on a variety of work releases at Client's refining & petrochemical facilities in Sarnia. </li><li> Act as the primary interface with the Client's Project Management & Operations teams to identify challenges, propose solutions, and implement projects. </li><li> Develop project design and execution strategies, then lead teams to achieve the project's objectives. </li><li> Lead cross functional project teams through the full project life cycle from conceptual design through to operations including engineering, modularization, fabrication, construction, commissioning, and start-up. </li><li> Establish resource plans, organizational structure, change & risk management plans, and execution plans for each work releases. </li><li> Coordinate multi-office work with Wood's CE Home Office in Calgary, Global SME's, and High Value Engineering Centers to provide the required engineering resources for the project. </li><li> Motivate and mentor staff to contribute to a
