SOC Analyst II

Job Summary Amentum is currently seeking a SOC Analyst II to support an IT Managed Services program in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The overall program includes a 500+ work force performing Enterprise IT support, Service Desk, and Telecommunications support across multiple facilities and locations, for classified and unclassified telecommunications and information technology (IT) systems. You will be a part of a team that blends IT Service Management tools and best-practice ITIL processes to lead improvements in IT Service Management. As a member of the team, you will: Provide Environmental Safety Walkthroughs SOC Analysis Services. Provide event, warning, alert, and alarm processing and management. Coordinate resolution of the event, warning, alert, and alarm messages Network Intrusion Detection Services. Detect events collected by the cyber enterprise systems across the client site computing environments including all corporate networks and telephones. Monitor batch processing job flows on two corporate networks and monitor that requested batch completion times are met, escalate when required. Provide prompt and accurate response to error notifications (Alerts). Administer and support on-premises private cloud platform to include patching, configuration, service and incident fulfillment, and capacity management. Maintain the integrity of servers and systems to meet established requirements for service levels, disaster recovery, and business. Provide IT project and service management support & space coordinator space/facilities management. Shift available for this position: 3:30 pm -12:00am. Minimum Requirements U.S. Citizenship required; must not possess dual citizenship with any other country other than the United States. Must have a High School Diploma / GED and 3 years of experience. Must be able to obtain a TOP SECRET (TS) or DOE Q clearance and maintain it for the life of the contract. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proficient with MS Office. Strong analytical skills. Strong organizational skills. Preferred Qualifications Networking experience with CISCO, Brocade, Juniper. Experience with BMC Truesight. ITIL Certification.
