Calibration Technician

Contributes to the development of an operational plan for own department activities of the team. Suggests improvements in products, processes and procedures.<br />
<br />
As a Calibration Technician, you will be responsible for:</p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>

<ul>
<li>Assembling Mechanics according to engineering drawings</li>
<li>Working on a wide variety of measurement devices functional testing</li>
<li>Ensuring systems and assemblies meet standards and are assembled to Sales Order or to Project Requirements</li>
<li>Testing electro-mechanical assemblies using in-house loops and equipment, with the support of in house manufacturing</li>
<li>Providing support and fault finding skills with our Technology and Engineering departments</li>
<li>Assembling Mechanics and functional testing of metering systems, instruments and calibration of assembled meters</li>
</ul>

To be successful in this role you will:</p>

<ul>
<li>Have a degree or Level 6 qualification in Instrumentation, Mechanics, Electronics, Manufacturing, Machinery, Engineering or Chemical Engineering</li>
<li>Be enthusiastic to learn and navigate a lab setting and its equipment (experience in this setting would be advantageous, but not essential)</li>
<li>Have exposure to the ISO17025 or UKAS (beneficial but not essential to your application)</li>
<li>Have exposure to building mechanical assemblies, functional testing of metering systems and instruments, and calibration of assembled meters</li>
