HVAC Project Engineer

The Opportunity: We have an exciting opportunity for a HVAC Project Engineer to join our E-House Business. Responsible for the design and delivery of HVAC Engineering projects this role is a true technical partner to our customers. Reporting to our Senior Engineers partnering with other engineers and various stakeholders, you will become part of a passionate and experienced team that provides outstanding service and support to our clients. This 12-month contract is a chance to put your experience into action and gain exposure to our organization with the potential for a long-term extension. Day-to-Day Responsibilities: In conjunction with the Structural, Mechanical and Electrical engineers to execute the HVAC Sub-Supplier contracts to ensure deliverables are achieved as well as control costs while meeting contract milestones Review HVAC drawings, reports and calculations from suppliers to meet project specifications and relevant standards and codes Carry out HVAC design when required Understanding of HVAC systems suitable for industrial and Oil & Gas segments Support multiple projects and tendering as required Effective communication with client and suppliers is required Why you: You are someone that gets excited about technology and excels in problem solving within challenging environments. In addition, you have the following skills: Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering with industrial HVAC experience Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and ability to work both autonomously or as a member of a team; Ability to co-ordinate different internal and external stakeholders at all levels of an organization; Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and highly proficient with MS Office; Desire for ongoing learning and development of your technical knowledge and skills As the ideal candidate you may have come from the mining, oil and gas industries or from a consultancy environment.
