Our testing and compliance services provide oversight and assurance over critical functions, operations and processes - helping clients to understand where they have potential gaps and exposures. We work with multiple industries including Banking and Capital Markets; Insurance and Asset Wealth Management, Pharmaceuticals, Manufacturing, Retail, Health Services, Oil and Gas, and many more.</p><p></p><p><b><b>Skills and Experience </b></b></p><ul><li><p>Strong analytical skills with an eye for problem solving and being able to implement and deliver solutions</p></li><li><p>Strong communication skills, being able to understand technical detail and articulate back in a simple and clear manner – both verbally and written</p></li><li><p>Previous experience in risk, compliance, testing, business continuity, technology and/or external/internal audit functions</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>The ability to keep calm in a changing environment, navigate through a process and bring together a group of key stakeholders to fix a problem in the moment.</p></li></ul><p><b> </b></p><p><b><b>About the Role</b></b></p><p></p><p>Our Technology Risk team helps our clients to safeguard their technology infrastructure, ensuring they have a clear understanding of the risks and opportunities in place and are making fully informed decisions. We provide clear profiles, assessments and structured reporting which allows our clients to understand any vulnerabilities within their supply chain. We are looking for self-motivated individuals with an interest in conducting third party risk management activities such as; supplier security assessments/reviews, contractual term analysis and negotiation, and ongoing monitoring of supplier adherence to security commitments. </p><p></p><p><b>Key Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li><p>Perform risk assessments on suppliers and identify key risk domains. </p></li><li><p>Conduct remote/onsite security assessments.</p></li><li><p>Review policy and procedures relating to information security and data privacy. </p></li><li><p>Ensure that potential issues are raised promptly and discussed with management to identify options to mitigate risk.</p></li><li><p>Identify, document and communicate control gaps/deficiencies to internal and external stakeholders</p></li><li><p>Demonstrate client management skills throughout the assessment process.</p></li><li><p>Identify process efficiencies/enhancements to keep assessment programs in line with industry best practices.</p></li><li><p>Manage a large and diverse portfolio of Vendors for the firm; </p></li><li><p>Negotiate remediation plan with suppliers </p></li><li><p>Maintain open communication channels with senior stakeholders through regular governance sessions, escalating appropriately as and when required. </p></li><li><p>Own the quality of all client outputs and ensure all client and internal document repositories are accurate and up to date </p></li></ul><br /><p><strong>Not the role for you?</strong><br />Did you know PwC offers flexible career arrangements and contract work? <a href="https://www.pwc.co.uk/careers/flexible-contractor-careers.html" rel="no-follow">Learn more</a>.<br /><br /><strong>The skills we look for</strong><br />In addition to our global framework, the PwC Professional, there are a number of key Operate behaviours you'll be evaluated against during our assessment process.
