Charity People are proud to be partnering with a £15+million turnover non-profit organisation, helping them to recruit a Director of Business Performance.</p>

<p>This is a newly created role, where you will be reporting directly to the CEO and Managing four direct reports and working closely as part of the leadership team. The salary for this role is between £65,000 - £75,000 per annum.</p>

<p>A person with senior Business Performance, Operations or COO-type of experience; with strong commercial acumen; having managed senior finance or fundraising personnel for an international organisation - will suit this position well.</p>

<p>My client is an independent international organisation head-quartered in the UK and working globally to prevent violent conflict and build peace. This organisation operates on a not-for-profit basis with partners in Africa, Asia and the Middle East and in policy centres in Beijing, Brussels, London and Washington DC. Their priority is people - they believe in a world where everyone can lead peaceful, lives free from fear and insecurity.</p>

<p><strong>About this role </strong></p>
<ul>
<li>This position will help shape the organisation's evolving business model and play a strategic role in operational business planning.</li>
<li>Reporting to the Executive Director, the Director of Business Performance will be a member of the Executive team.</li>
<li>You will oversee and support the development and management of our various core support functions, and drive performance in key business areas.</li>
<li>And influence the development of a highly respected peacebuilding organisation to deliver on its 2021-2031 strategy</li>
<li>As Director, you will manage and support People and Culture, Finance and Fundraising, and a small global operations team. The post-holder will work collaboratively with the Directors of International Programmes and of Policy and Communications to support their respective areas of operations oversight.</li>
</ul>

<p>The successful candidate will have significant senior operational leadership experience of core support functions, preferably in an organisation with offices based in multiple countries. Knowledge of non-profit governance processes operating in challenging contexts; with a track record in analysing, planning and making decisions at a strategic level; and delivering on operational strategies and processes with complex stakeholder relationships, will fit well.</p>
