The sensors, condition monitoring & protection systems, S1 software and analytics algorithms are widely applied for these rotating machines in industries of Oil & Gas, Power Generation, Iron & Steel, Mining, Pulp, Municipal, etc.<br><br><b> Partner with the best </b><br><br>As a Commercial Application Engineer, you will use the knowledge of Bently Nevada applications, together with project and service experience and deep P&L product domain knowledge to develop product and installation solutions to meet customer needs. This including schedule and cost that facilitate total scope project offerings.<br><br>As a Commercial Application Engineer , you will be responsible for: <br><ul><li>Support Sales by reviewing and influencing customer specifications to assure compliance and/or noted exceptions for development of equipment and service quotations</li><li>Develop hardware and service proposal solutions to provide the most costs effective, technically appropriate solution to meet customer need</li><li>To find the fastest possible options for Sales / customers and develop proposal with competitive pricing and delivery</li><li>Familiar with commercial and contractual risk within the Inquiry to Order (ITO) process</li><li>Understand the of Commercial process / stages and tools to ensure appropriate bid compliance and risk mitigation prior to release of a proposal to a customer</li><li>Coordinate/respond to vendor prequalification documents</li><li>Accept ownership of bid opportunities from Sales via Deal Machine</li><li>On occasion, support technical presentations to customers</li><li>Maintain strong industry intelligence to inform business decision-making</li><li>Communicate individual customer requirements for Sales Manager in regards to design and quotation</li><li>Communicate requirements for order fulfillment to OTR project operations teams</li><li>Contribute to regional sales, orders, profitability, and ITO quality goals</li><li>Document competitors' activities and assess potential market moves</li><li>Use technical expertise to support other functions where appropriate</li></ul><br><br><b> Fuel your passion </b><br><br>To be successful in this role you will have:<br><ul><li>At least 3 years of experience in a Sales, Service, Engineering or other related role. Minimum of 3 additional years of experience in Proposals.</li><li>Strong customer mindsetBachelor's/Master's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or Controls) is preferred</li><li>Ability to perform engineering analysis and design, to develop solutions in a team environment, and to provide technical consulting services to customers</li><li>Level of commercial and contractual knowledge to negotiate and close deals with customers</li><li>Ability to lead project teams conducting technical analysis to mitigate risk</li><li>Prior experience in preparation of detailed technical proposals</li><li>Strong oral and written communication skills</li><li>Domain expert - deep technical knowledge of product line and its application</li></ul><br><br><b>Work in a way that works for you</b><br><br>We recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
