That's why we're looking for someone talented, someone who wants to develop their skills, someone like you.</p><p> </p><br /><br />What will I be doing?<br /><br /><p> </p><ul><li>Supporting the organisation as an expert advisor on health and safety with a particular focus on working with event delivery teams and volunteer-led activities.</li><li>Providing expert guidance, assistance, and training in the implementation of relevant H&amp;S legislation.</li><li>Develop safe operational procedures and processes which drive continuous improvement in H&amp;S performance.</li><li>Investigating accidents, incidents, and developing trends whilst working collaboratively with field and operational teams to implement solutions.</li><li>Proactively monitoring health and safety performance at events and activities.</li><li>Championing and promoting a visible, vibrant, and positive H&amp;S culture which reflects the mission, objectives, and values of the Charity.</li><li>Ensuring health and safety responsibilities are embedded, understood, and accepted across Events &amp; Fundraising business areas. </li></ul><p> </p><br /><br />What skills are you looking for?<br /><br /><p> </p><ul><li>NEBOSH General Certificate level qualification, or equivalent (ideally working towards NEBOSH Diploma, IOSH membership, or equivalent body).</li><li>Excellent knowledge of current event health &amp; safety issues and industry best practices with experience working on large events.</li><li>Proven record of managing and delivering an effective Health &amp; Safety management system.</li><li>Proven ability to engage others with excellent, interpersonal, influencing, and negotiating skills.</li><li>Ability to find creative solutions and a willingness to challenge conventional health and safety thinking.</li><li>Experience working with volunteers or volunteering-led activities (desirable).</li></ul><p> </p><br /><br />What will I gain?<br /><br /><p> </p><p>Each and every one of our employees contributes to our progress and is supporting our work to beat cancer.
