Partner Marketing Director - EMEA

Leading a team of EMEA Partner Marketing Managers, working with our most strategic partners in EMEA, you will play a critical role in supporting this growth effort. You will take full ownership of building a successful partner demand generation strategy aligned with our global partner priorities and our region's growth strategy. Success in the Role: What are the performance outcomes over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing? Working with the team of direct reports and partners to develop and drive marketing activities which will support the achievement of the quarterly pipeline, bookings, and ACV goals Use data and insights to inform partner marketing strategy and socialize results Build strong relationships and become a trusted advisor to key stakeholders across the EMEA Partner and Commercial leadership team Work closely with the EMEA Field Marketing leadership team to increase awareness of VMware partner marketing strategy, plan and impact The Work: What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis? Experience leading a talented team of ABM, partner, industry, and integrated campaign marketers with a demonstrated ability to recruit top-tier talent Demonstrable partner marketing experience in delivering pipeline and revenue with a focus on demand generation activities and programs in a cloud or SaaS business Experience managing a matrix of resources, both internally and externally Partner closely with sales leadership to ensure the plan is aligned with the region’s overall strategy and objectives Collaborate with cross-functional marketing teams, and other key functions, to deliver and measure engaging content and thought leadership to drive pipeline target achievement An analytical and results-orientated individual in tune with revenue marketing principles and the customer lifecycle Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including copywriting skills Experience managing external agencies and AWFs Strong attention to detail, well organized and can manage multiple projects simultaneously Able to distil partner marketing programs and campaigns into digestible insights that internal stakeholders will care about and understand In-depth understanding of the partner landscape and marketing funnel Support and manage the EMEA partner participation and execution of Global-led marketing related activities Budget planning and management including MDF and OPEX funding What is the leadership like for this role?
