Position Purpose Manages the overall daily transportation operation to deliver the store merchandise at the right time in accordance to our On Time Delivery KPI; maximizing the utilized space of every trailer optimizing the routes through the dynamic consolidation tactic, constant review of the delivery schedule and auditing our third-party providers' operation, facilities and trucks and trailers. Primary Accountabilities Manage and control the transportation operation in Domestic DCs such as monitoring, loading and unloading of trailers, maintenance of the yard truck, monitoring of the daily operation among others. Maximize the utilized cube of the trailers by optimizing our dinamic consolidation Develop strategies and action plans to reduce lead times to stores and inventory transfers between DCs Meet or exceed our On Time Delivery KPI Audit and control the routes establishing control points with timing logs Design innovation programs to maximize trailer space utilization Constantly review and update the Delivery Schedule in agreement with DC Operations Education & Experience Level of Formal Education: A Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) or equivalent. Area of Study: Administración, Ing. Industrial, Logistica. Years of Experience: Three to five years. Type of Experience: Transportation Special Certifications or Technical Skills: WMS, YMS and TMS ( Transport Management Systems) Other/Preferred: Excell
