Situated within the FT group, our Financial Performance practice works with finance functions to empower them to become more insightful and true business partners. We are trusted advisors and leaders in budgeting, planning and forecasting, close and consolidation, reporting and analytics with a particular focus on implementing technology solutions to enable these processes. KPMG’s FT group is looking for a Consultant/Senior Consulant to serve as data transformation and integration leader across various systems and platforms. This role will be responsible for managing implementations, working with the broader KPMG Management Consulting group and working with senior management to continue to grow the Financial Performance practice. What you will do Advise, guide and support our clients by providing technical expertise in transforming and integrating data between various systems Help organizations develop and/or optimize integration solutions to optimize data flows Develop data flow solutions that integrate diverse ecosystems such as on‑premises and cloud solutions while using broad range of technologies Identify business development opportunities for FT projects Help develop and upgrade our TF methodology Work with senior KPMG leaders to enhance and integrate service offerings across the Advisory Services practices Develop relationships and partnerships with other KPMG offices
LI-Hybrid What you bring to the role Bachelor degree in Administration or IT or a related field, or equivalent experience At least 2–5 years of experience related to the implementation of system integration solutions using ETL tools and scripts (Python, VB Script, etc.) in on-premises or cloud‑based ecosystems Knowledge of programming as well as the various technologies encompassing ETL tools Experience working in a client facing role across a variety of industries and businesses Superior written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with client stakeholders, work closely in a collaborative team environment and lead teams and project deliverables Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to clearly and articulately identify and define problems and develop creative solutions to address client requirements Experience in programming, implementing interfaces using REST APIs and data transformation Knowledge of query languages such as SQL and various operating systems Knowledge of information access and delivery methods, analytics applications and tools, data sourcing and integration methods such as OLAP/ROLAP/HOLAP, and an understanding of data warehousing/mining, ETL, EII, data cleansing and architecture Ability to travel within Canada and the U.S. Knowledge of French & English language Keys to your success: KPMG individuals Deliver Impact | Seek Growth | Inspire Trust and understand that a diverse workforce enables us to deepen relationships and strengthen our business.
