Your Role: As an Analytics Engineer you will provide premium professional services for SolarWinds customers. Focus will be on delivering customized and resilient monitoring solutions using SolarWinds Products and Services. The role requires strong communication and technical skills combined with the ability to work independently when consulting on a customer engagement. Responsibilities Participates in all project support functions. Working knowledge of all SolarWinds applications and modules. Configures monitoring tools per established best practices and industry standards. Performs SolarWinds installations with efficiency and assist with all the project tasks as assigned. Understands Service Level Agreements and how to apply them appropriately. Can perform system related diagnosis based on monitoring results. Analyzes business requirements, and provides functional recommendations based on best practices. Ability to work with clients to identify production process issues, conduct tests and experiments to analyze problems; solve problems in conjunction with other departments. Performs as a subject matter expert regarding all things SolarWinds. Performs escalations for any potential scheduling conflict, task issues, or deadlines in advance. Actively improves system knowledge base with improved processes, standard operating procedures, training materials, and system documentation. Capable of diagraming and documenting customer infrastructure using company templates. Qualifications Excellent problem-solving skills. Knowledge of Network and Application Monitoring tools. Knowledge of network commands and tools such as Ping, Traceroute, NSLookup. General familiarity of IT infrastructure such as data networking (routers, switches, WAN), servers (Windows), VMWare, SAN, security, wireless, VoIP, etc. Strong understanding of network fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, Routing and so forth). Familiar with monitoring protocols such as SNMP and WMI. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to use Microsoft Office suite (Teams, Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.)
