Commercial Specialist

<b> Overview / Responsibilities </b><br><br>Wood currently has an opportunity available for a Commercial Specialist to join our Mining & Minerals business in Johannesburg . <br><br>Job Objective: <br><ul><li> Advise Management on commercial matters relating to contractual and risk issues, strategy and other contractual/legal matters on various projects and proposals. </li><li> Prepare, coordinate and review commercial sections of proposals and enquiry documents, in compliance with procedures and guidelines. </li><li> Commercial input in corporate governance tier forms such as ATS and ATP in mysps. </li><li> Ensure availability of up-to-date contractual information, correspondence, records, etc. </li><li> Ensure compliance with procedures and contractual provisions at all times. </li><li> Interface with project managers and other team members during proposal, negotiation and execution stages of various projects, managing the commercial/contractual positions of each project or contract in compliance with management strategies. </li><li>First contact for legal matters / actions - both outgoing and incoming</li></ul><br> Key Responsibilities: <br><ul><li> Formulate commercial queries and proposal responses to tender submissions to clients. </li><li> Scrutinise and evaluate prescribed client terms and conditions and advise management on qualifications on various contracts and agreements including confidentiality and settlement agreements. </li><li> Checking that
