Team Manager - Risk Management - Commodity Services

Team Manager – Risk Management Role: To lead a team of Commodity Risk Analysts who’s primary role is executing commodity price risk management strategies on behalf of our national and international risk management clients. You will be a part of an overall Management team with additional responsibilities to continuously review and analyse Risk Management, Reporting and Transactional Processes to improve security, create efficiency, enhance service delivery, drive revenue and play a role in new product development. As it relates to people you will take great pride in the continuous development of your people, through coaching and mentoring, providing great feedback, setting challenging and achievable goals and elevating and rewarding excellence. Furthermore, you will represent the Risk Management and Trading team as a senior team member, representing the teams interests across the business, acting as role model for employees and peers or through contribution to the improvement of the company's and division's revenue and margin. Tasks: People Management duties related to team members (121s, performance and talent reviews, coaching, training and development etc); Representing the Risk Management and Trading team in front of various internal and external stakeholders; KPI/ Management reporting to line manager; Supporting Revenue teams in client acquisition and retention, playing an active part in the sales process as and when required; Leadership of key internal projects related to our transaction process Taking a lead on training team members and supporting them in fulfilling their responsibilities; Fulfilling all tasks included as part of the service delivery of trading when acting as trader for clients; Point of escalation for client or service delivery challenges within the team. Expectations: College or University diploma or degree (preferably involving analytical skills); 3 years relevant experience as a minimum; Demonstrable level of experience in coaching, training, mentoring (not necessarily in a people manager role) Good knowledge of commodity markets and the energy industry; Fluent English (written and verbal), fluency in other European language is an advantage; Experience in the use of MS Excel and willingness to develop advanced Excel skills; Knowledge of any data processing software is an advantage; Good ability to analyse, create and implement processes; High levels of attention to detail.
