Asset Data Quality Technician

Job Summary The Asset Data Quality Technician coordinates, facilitates and administers actions necessary to ensure the consistent and effective management of asset information through all stages of the asset life cycle at the Joint Defense Facility Pine Gap. This role supports analytical evaluation through the maintenance of data integrity related to all critical and non-critical assets. This role delivers accurate information related to asset life cycle conditions, maintenance, and regulatory requirements to necessary to optimize asset operational resiliency, reliability, efficiency and capability; and is a key contributor to the development of an integrated and Site wide asset management culture. The Asset Data Quality Technician works closely with the Asset Management Analyst and Business Process Specialist works closely with the Reliability Engineer and Asset Manager to develop and distribute reports and metrics delivering information on asset conditions, downtime, costs, recapitalization projects and the development, implementation and ongoing maintenance of the systems, processes and projects which form the asset management system. Ensure the integrity, accuracy and completeness of assets captured in the CMMS Assess and monitor procedural adherence and operational risks through the evaluation of issues and/or gaps in identified department processes. Identify, develop, implement, coordinate and monitor processes to ensure integrity of asset information across multiple platforms. Coordinate, facilitate and administer actions necessary to ensure the consistent and reliable support of field inspection data management activities. Liaise with asset data providers on queries and data corrections; Supply barcode and space labels to projects. Review and validate asset data sets. Support the development of data governance frameworks; develop and implement quality assurance (QA) rules and notification procedures, monitor and report QA performance in accordance with the Site standards. Support to Capital Projects with advice on Asset information capture requirements.
