Lead Control Systems Engineer

<b> Overview / Responsibilities </b><br><br>Wood is recruiting a Lead Control Systems Engineer to join our growing Automation team based in our conveniently located Perth office. <br><br>Our specialist team demonstrates technical excellence, working together to empower our clients to navigate the changing technology landscape, e nsuring competitiveness and sustainability through intelligent ecosystems, domain expertise and digital solutions. At Wood, our Automation, Telecommunications and Intelligent Operations teams develop tailored, transformative strategies so that our consultants and engineers can empower our clients to be future-ready, now. Responsibilities of the role include: <br><ul><li> Specification and development of DCS / SIS (ICSS) scope and hardware / software specifications and configurations </li><li> Development of associated DCS / SIS drawings, test procedures and manuals </li><li> Functional Safety life-cycle documentation, verifications and validation </li><li> Conduct / witness software FAT, software integration FATs and panel FATs </li><li> Control systems change management </li><li> Design and Integration with vendor package control systems </li><li> Control systems commissioning support </li><li> Providing guidance and reviews for junior engineers </li></ul><br> Please note that at this time, we will only consider applications from Australian citizens or those who hold Permanent Residency (PR) to work lawfully in Australia. <br><br><b> Skills / Qualifications </b><br><br>It takes a diverse range of people to achieve the level of impact Wood has on the global energy sector. As a member of the team you will ideally have the following experience <br><ul><li> 5 to 10+ years of experience in industrial automation </li><li> DCS and SIS (ICSS) design and configuration experience </li><li> Honeywell (Experion, FSC / SM, network, virtualisation) and / or Emerson DeltaV hardware and software configuration experience </li><li> Operating plant experience desirable </li><li> Functional Safety certification and design experience desirable </li><li> Networks and cybersecurity experience desirable </li><li> Demonstrated effective communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships </li></ul> <br><br><b> Company Overview </b><br><br>Wood is a global leader in engineering and consultancy across energy and the built environment, helping to unlock solutions to some of the world's most critical challenges.
