Production Chemist - Trinidad & Tobago

We work with our organization to identify future needs and enhancements.<br><br><b> Partner with the best </b><br>As a Production Chemist, you will provide expertise and technical support for our off-shore chemical product lines. You will oversee and advise on product application, well prognosis, and completion product performance. You will take the lead for new product market introductions, development and field trials.<br>As a Production Chemist, you will be responsible for:<br><ul><li> Coordinating activities of offshore laboratory technicians for the practical application of scientific research and development </li><li> Collaborating with business units and teams to identify problems and implement solutions </li><li> Providing technical guidance for projects and initiatives to ensure successful delivery </li><li> Presenting metrics, project status and research to internal teams </li><li> Leading and implementing new product market introductions and field trials to test and develop innovations </li><li> Investigating unusual or unsatisfactory product performance to determine root cause and preventative action </li><li> Conducting field evaluations to mitigate production chemistry related challenges </li></ul><br><br><b> Fuel your passion </b><br>To be successful in this role you will be required to:<br><ul><li> Have a Technical or Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry </li><li> Have 3 years related experience </li><li> Have solid Offshore Production Chemistry or Oilfield Chemical experience </li><li> Be willing to work in offshore environment </li><li> Have experience working with laboratory equipment whilst ensuring a safe working environment </li><li> Have proficiency with Microsoft Office software </li><li> Demonstrate excellent communication skills and an ability to build trusting relationships with customers and teams </li><li> Be a self-starter, proactively taking the initiative to solving problems </li><li> Have good leadership skills with the ability to lead and motivate teams </li><li> This position requires a valid and unexpired driver's license </li><li> As part of our commitment to the health and safety of our employees, customers and the communities in which we operate, this role requires full vaccination for Covid-19 prior to beginning work </li></ul><br><br><b> Work in a way that works for you </b><br><br>We recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
