Director, NEMEA Global Solution Consultants – Telco - Opportunity for Working Remotely

Why will you enjoy this new opportunity? You will have the opportunity to lead a team of high performing, Global Solutions Consultants (GSC) team on several top Telco accounts. The Northern EMEA (NEMEA) Senior Manager is a high impact, very visible role, responsible for ensuring the pervasive adoption of Telco and Enterprise solutions based on VMware software by their team. Success in the Role: What are the performance outcomes over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing? Coordination of strategic development of resources within the GSC Team, including approval of training plans, career development planning, conducting regular performance evaluations, coaching/counselling GSC's for their professional growth Supporting the GSCs in complex Telco opportunities, covering Core Networks & Radio Access Networks (RAN) as well as Enterprise and B2B solutions Review of resource utilization, planning for specialized coverage of all major sales activity areas (Direct, Channel, OEM and Marketing), and review of the resource matching process Recruiting and hiring of GSC's to fill staffing requirements Motivation, development, and retention of all GSC’s in region Mentor and coach the GSC team Participation in regular territory reviews with regional sales leadership resulting in a detailed understanding of the top deals in the region Development of long-term coverage plans for the GSC region Additional responsibilities include development of relationships with other organizations inside VMware and key partners, as well as maintaining current knowledge of both corporate and the Telco industry direction What is the leadership like for this role? What is the structure and culture of the team like? You will be reporting to the Telco GSC Senior Director and will work alongside the Sales Director for NEMEA Telco. You will also be part of the Global Telco Pre-Sales leadership team working alongside leaders from APJ and AMER.
