Product Marketing Specialist

To find out more about us check: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=baa_aiJ4L7E This is a product marketing position which is responsible for life cycle management and is responsible for identifying, creating, supporting, enhancing, and driving continuous efficiencies with regards to business development of Eaton´s product launch process in the Nordic Zone sales organization. Target to ensure a process for seamless product extension to all Nordic countries, including sales enablement tools and content. The product marketing role is a part of a wider Nordic marketing organization, and is to collaborate closely with other marketing team members and sales teams to define the target markets for the supported products, participate in creation of local business strategies and go-to-market strategies for the chosen target markets, as well as creation of respective marketing strategies and execution of respective marketing plans to support the agreed long-term business strategies and achievement of profit plan goals on the annual basis. This position is also to collaborate with a wider Product Marketing team in EMEA including both Digital marketing and product master date team in addition to product division team. Your main responsibilities: • Make sure our selected products are sales enabled in all Nordic countries, directly or through channel • Selection of products fitting the need of the defined target markets • Market gap & product fit analysis • Competitive analysis of supported product ranges • Price positioning versus competitors on the local market • Ensure product margins and profitability, support with specific price requirements • Manage products through the entire life cycle starting form a product introduction to the phase-out of the products and replacement with the new products • Use intimate understanding of customers, their markets, buying habits and pain points to help shape Eaton’s business strategy, as well as customer & project targeting • Define a product support process in the countries and if needed, different levels of product support • Develop and execute an action plan in cooperation with the local sales team to grow product sales (target specific customers, markets, channel, value prop) • Content validation and creation in cooperation with marcom (web content including SEO, marketing collaterals, videos, web content, emails, social media etc) • Develop and support execution of product promotions and incentives • Regular internal communication on the supported products Qualifications Your essential skills we are looking for: • Bachelor´s or master’s degree in technical, business or marketing studies • Good understanding of electrical products and technologies • Good understanding of business basics including revenue projections, business metrics and financial planning, as well as pricing • Marketing skills: knowledge and experience in demand generation, digital marketing, project management etc • Presentation skills: the ability to be persuasive in front of customers, partners, industry influencers, competitors, policymakers • Fluent in one of the Scandinavian languages as well as English • Experience in working with cross functional teams in a dynamic environment • Experience of working within a matrix organization • Experience in working in a comparable marketing / product management role • Relevant industry/sector experience • Understanding of simplification and streamlining of processes, in addition to executional implementation capabilities What we offer to you: • Competitive compensation and benefits package • Permanent contract in a fast-growing global company • Challenging projects in dynamic collaborative team • Flexible working solutions (home office, remote, flexible working hours, part time etc.) are implemented across different EMEA locations • We make ethics and culture matter – You will enjoy working in supportive and collaborative workplace where ethics and safety are in our DNA • We make your perspectives matter - Different points of view are what drive innovation and collaboration, and at Eaton, innovation begins with top-to-bottom diversity.
