Head of Process Engineering, Asia Pacific West

<b> Overview / Responsibilities </b><br><br>Wood is recruiting for a <b>Head of Process Engineering </b>to join our team in Perth as part of its Western Australian business. <br><br>Wood delivers brownfields engineering, procurement, construction, optimisation and technical services to the oil and gas sector and enjoys long-term partnerships with some of the region's most prominent producers, actively supporting operations in Western Australia, the Northern Territory and Kazakhstan. <br><br>In this highly visible role, you will be responsible for: <br><ul><li> Leading all Process Engineering activities to deliver successful Projects, Studies or Tenders to our customers </li><li> The Recruitment, Allocation and Management of Process Engineering resources required for efficient project execution </li><li> Providing technical leadership to support business development, customer early engagement, Tenders and Studies </li><li> As Technical Authority, ensuring technical integrity of all work performed on projects </li><li> Engineering and leading, coordinating and delivering multi-discipline Engineering scope on a Project, Tender or Study on predominantly Brownfields projects </li><li> The professional development of subordinate engineers and graduates </li></ul><br> At Wood you will join an inclusive and diverse global community of inquisitive minds and recognised industry innovators, partnering to create new possibilities. <br><br><b> Skills / Qualifications </b><br><br><b>You will be an Australian citizen or hold Permanent Residency (PR) and able to work lawfully in Australia. </b> <br><br>Ideally you will have experience in a similar role and while advantageous to have a degree in a relevant technical or business discipline, it is not essential. <br><br>In addition, you will have: <br><ul><li> Extensive experience of engineering delivery in the energy sector </li><li> Expert level experience and understanding of process engineering tools and processes. </li><li> Broad understanding of the business drivers for energy sector clients </li><li> Excellent written and verbal communication skills </li><li> Able to anticipate and balance the needs of multiple stakeholders </li><li> Able to attract top talent to meet current and future business needs </li><li> Experienced in developing talent using coaching, mentoring and formal performance processes </li></ul><br><b> What will set you apart will be your relevant experience in b rownfields projects in both onshore and offshore environments. </b><br><br>It takes a diverse and inclusive community of inquisitive minds to unlock tomorrow's solutions to the world's most critical challenges.
