Contract Manager for Offshore Wind Projects

Background Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Law or Business Law (HA-Jur/Cand.merc Jur, LLB, Cand.Jur. or similar). You can also have a technical background with good legal/contractual skills Experience with contract management (supervising and supporting with risk handling, variation- and claim management, contract amendments, negotiations on different levels etc.) Experience in working with various types of construction and supply contracts, preferable within the offshore wind sector (however not a requirement) Experience with FIDIC-contracts Experience in preparing bids during tender phases (private/public contracts) and being a part of a bid team English proficiency, excellent communications, and stakeholder management skills Responsibilities Execution Contract Management You will be responsible for supporting the Project Manager in leading the contract and making sure that all project team members are aware of the risks and opportunities. During the execution, you will supervise contractual risks, support in performing variations, claims, payment requests, monitoring of key milestones or other requirements and by preparing and negotiating contract with third-party sub-contractors. You will have a close dialog and collaboration with different stakeholders, such as the core project team, in-company factories, other Siemens Energy entities, customers, business partners, and third-party sub-contractors. Bid Contract Management During the tender phase, and together with the bid team, you will review the contractual documents and take part in the negotiations with customers and the subcontractors. Your key tasks will be: Contract management with full responsibility for operational performance of: Reviewing, commenting, and negotiating the contract during bid phase and execution of a project Support the Project Managers and the business in understanding a contract and the risks therein, and preparing and settling variation, claims and disputes Developing processes and templates together with the two other Contract Managers to improve our way of doing contract management Communicating with customers and subcontractors in a respectful way Preparing presentations/recommendations for decision-making material for Steering Committees LET’S TALK ABOUT US Become part of an open and dynamic culture where professional and personal development is high on the agenda.
