<div class="mds-edited-text mds-font-body-copy-bulk"><p><strong>We are looking for an experienced and accomplished leader to spearhead the work of our communications team, be responsible for all comms and engagement with our external stakeholders and help progress various key projects and strategic priorities.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Closing date:</strong> 29 August 2022 (12pm)</p>

<p><strong>                            Second stage:</strong> 12 September 2022</p>
<p><strong>Salary:</strong> £70,286 - £76,158 per annum, depending on skills and experience, plus benefits</p>
<p><strong>Location:</strong> Canary Wharf, London (Hybrid working approach)</p>
<p><strong>Hours: </strong>35 hours per week, from 9.00 to 5.00, Monday to Friday</p>
<p><strong>The Role</strong></p>
<p>This is a <strong>fantastic opportunity to cover a period of maternity leave</strong> and play an important role in helping us to <strong>achieve our vision</strong> of safe and effective pharmacy care at the heart of healthier communities, by <strong>proactively using communications and engagement</strong> to empower pharmacy users, enhance patient safety and drive improvements in pharmacy and its communities.</p>
<p><strong>The successful applicant will:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li><strong>Lead, manage and develop </strong>the communications team, making sure the GPhC effectively engage with all our stakeholders, including <strong>patients and the public, pharmacy professionals</strong>, <strong>parliamentarians, the media, and wider healthcare sector</strong>.<br />
 </li>
<li>Contribute towards<strong> implementing the GPhC's five-year communications and engagement strategy (2022-27).</strong><br />
 </li>
<li>Work closely with internal colleagues across the organisation, <strong>gaining exposure to multiple business functions and senior colleagues</strong> including the Directors for Scotland and Wales to help <strong>promote our role as the pharmacy regulator across Great Britain</strong>.<br />
 </li>
<li><strong>Manage the GPhC’s website and social media channels </strong>and provide ongoing leadership for the <strong>project to redevelop our corporate website</strong>.<br />
 </li>
<li>Oversee all corporate communication activities including <strong>brand development and implementation</strong> as well as <strong>external publications</strong>.<br />
 </li>
<li><strong>Provide key strategic communications advice</strong> and support to our <strong>Senior Leadership Group and Council.</strong><br />
 </li>
