<p>CCL Global are currently recruiting for 2 Senior Planning Engineers in London. The successful applicant will  have experience in FEED and EPC Projects and provide guidance and deliver planning execution plans and schedules per company standards to suit the project execution strategy and needs from both and internal and external aspect. Ensure accurate and timely reporting input to the project and work within the project applicable procedures and process workflows.</p>

<p>To fulfil the requirements of the position the incumbent must develop collaborative working relationships within the Project Controls function, wider project teams project teams and internal functions.</p>

<p><strong>Location:</strong> London, UK</p>

<p><strong>Type of Contract:</strong> 12 Months Contract under IR35.</p>

<p><strong> Key duties will include:</strong></p>

<p> </p>

<p>As a Senior Planner, you will Have a sound understanding of project scheduling techniques, schedule basis creation, WBS and CBS structuring methodology and key work process for logic creation, cost and resource loading required for schedule creation.  Work with Senior Project Managers, Project Managers, Project Engineers and Lead Engineers to proactively develop and status the schedule.</p>

<ul>
<li>Development of integrated Level 2 and 3 schedules for Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, Construction and Commissioning phases.</li>
<li>Creation and maintenance of 90 day lookahead and Early works look ahead schedules</li>
<li>Development of Proposal Level 2 schedules to support ongoing bids.</li>
<li>Collection of information / production of monthly Status Reports for Project Managers.</li>
<li>Production of progress, productive curves and earned value reporting.</li>
<li>Production / issue of formal reports (with input from Projects).</li>
<li>Preparing ad hoc progress reports to facilitate effective controls within Engineering.</li>
<li>Provide statistical data for management reviews.</li>
<li>Regular project team reviews, Public Planning Meeting and Last Planner Meetings.</li>
<li>Initiate day-to-day discussions with all groups involved in a project to assess the change / schedule implication of ongoing work.</li>
<li>Schedule reduction exercises to provide ballpark schedule views for alternatives.</li>
<li>Assist project team in development of action plans to avoid / minimise cost / schedule overruns.</li>
<li>Attend Lead Engineer's Meetings.</li>
<li>Integrate Master schedule with contractor's schedule.</li>
<li>Monitor contactor progress and provide highlights on critical items on a weekly basis.</li>
<li>Analyse contractors monthly updated schedule for any impact on project critical path, provide various analysis to help Project Management in decision making.</li>

<p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p>

<p> </p>

<ul>
<li>Education - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Numerate or related field is preferred</li>
<li>Minimum of 10+ years of work experience on major capital engineering projects in an FEED and EPC head office environment.</li>
<li>Experienced user of Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.</li>
<li>Demonstrated technical competency in the field of project Planning</li>
<li>Ability to work within an established team to achieve targets and goals.</li>
<li>Excellent oral and written English proficiency is a must.</li>
<li>Strong organizational and time management skills.</li>
<li>Excellent knowledge and proficiency with the Microsoft office suite (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, One Note)</li>
<li>Working knowledge of SAP, EcoSys PM, Primavera P6, Deltek Acumen is desirable</li>
