That's why we're looking for someone talented, someone who wants to develop their skills, someone like you.<br /><br /><p> </p><br /><br />What will I be doing?<br /><br /><ul><li><p>Owning and delivering timely, high quality and accurate management accounts for specific business areas (Cancer Research Horizons; Policy, Information &amp; Communications; Therapeutic Innovation, and Research Grants).</p></li><li><p>Support the Senior Finance Manager (Management Accounting) to develop and motivate the team, playing a key role in building the management accounting centre of excellence.</p></li><li><p>Supporting the year end audit and production of the annual report and accounts whilst ensuring accuracy and handling audit queries.</p></li><li><p>Reviewing existing management information to find efficiencies and improvements.</p></li><li><p>Working with multiple stakeholders to identify and process transactions needed to ensure accounts are complete and correct.</p></li><li><p>Taking ownership of business-critical tasks such as royalty and revenue share processing for commercial partnerships.</p></li><li><p>Being a key finance point of contact for your specified business areas.</p></li><li><p>Supporting the financial planning process by building budgeting and forecasting tools and templates.</p></li><li><p>Be prepared to rotate business areas periodically to improve your knowledge and experience.</p></li></ul><p> </p><br /><br />What skills are you looking for?<br /><br /><ul><li><p>Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent) with proven management accounts experience ideally within both commercial &amp; not-for-profit environments.</p></li><li><p>Exposure to financial planning and reporting with experience helping decision makers understand the impact of their decisions</p></li><li><p>Strong relationship and influencing skills with the confidence to work with Directors and senior stakeholders.</p></li><li><p>The ability to clearly present and explain financial information</p></li><li><p>An innovative mindset with experience of working in a continuous improvement environment.</p></li><li><p>Strong problem-solving skills.</p></li></ul><p> </p><br /><br />What will I gain?<br /><br /><p>Each and every one of our employees contributes to our progress and is supporting our work to beat cancer.
