The Role This position is responsible for the successful delivery of complex Salesforce solutions for critical J&J applications developed at JJT Technology Services Development Center in Limerick, Ireland. These solutions include but are not necessarily limited to Salesforce.com products and APIs, Apex/Visualforce, Lightning, Amazon Web Services, Mulesoft, mobile development technologies, and integration/ETL technologies. In this role, we are looking for someone with expertise in Salesforce and with sufficient hands-on experience on the different Salesforce clouds, Integration, Data Management, Apex/Visualforce and Lightning (Aura and LWC). She/He will work in a Scrum Team on new application development and ongoing development for existing solutions and will ensure timely delivery of quality solutions. Key Responsibilities Develop customized solutions within the Salesforce platform to support critical business functions and meet project objectives, client requirements and company goals. Work with a quality first mindset to ensure all solutions are delivered with zero critical defects. Manage the technical delivery of custom development, integrations, and data migration elements of a Salesforce implementation. Participate and contribute through all project milestones including design, configuration, debug issues, development and rollout. Work with Business & BT partners to understand future demand at Strategic Platform level. Communicate with project managers, clients and other developers to design cohesive project strategies and ensure effective collaboration throughout all phases of development, testing and deployment Solve complex business problems and present recommendations to the stakeholders. Lead team in adopting and implementing technology best practices Lead design, design reviews, code reviews, technical delivery. Working remotely, while collaborating with global teams for delivery across geographies. Qualifications Qualifications 5+ years of experience as a Salesforce developer Degree and/or Masters in Technology Sciences, or related field preferred Vast experience in Apex, Visualforce, Aura/LWC, JavaScript, integrations, batch processing, web services, a-sync processes Understanding of the Salesforce product suite, including Sales, Service, and Community Clouds Active Salesforce certifications or ability to achieve relevant certifications upon hire (Developer, Administrator, Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, Community Cloud…) Experience working in development teams using Agile methodology. Experience with GIT, the Salesforce Metadata API, sandboxes & deployment tools, version management, and code deployment standards Understanding of key design patterns and large data volume limitations and best practices Good understanding of declarative tools Attention to detail and multi-tasking skills Self-motivated and creative Strong leadership skills Must have good planning, organizational, and decision-making skills A team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills Fluent in written and spoken English If you are interested in the position and match the above criteria, please apply online!
