Electronic Technical Officer (ETO)

<p><u><strong>Experience:</strong></u></p>

<ul>
<li>At least 1-year experience in relevant field of maritime activities</li>
</ul>

<p><u><strong>Skill / Attributes / Competencies:</strong></u></p>

<ul>
<li>The ability to understand interface relationship between marine and project personnel.</li>
<li>Able to communicate effectively and articulately at all levels.</li>
<li>Pleasant disposition with the capability to be authoritative when necessary</li>
<li>Clear and effective oral and written communications skills in English language.</li>
<li>Thorough knowledge and understanding of principle discipline and peripheral subjects.</li>
<li>Strong coordination, organization and liaison skills with the ability to seek and gain consensus solutions to complex issues.</li>
</ul>

<p><u><strong>Main Responsibilities:</strong></u></p>

<ul>
<li>Maintenance / repair of the DP System, navigation and communication equipment.</li>
<li>Maintenance of telephone accounts.</li>
<li>Heli-admin and Helicopter communications.</li>
<li>Maintenance of Radio Publications.</li>
<li>Check that any company or client&
39;s electrical / electronic equipment mobilised on board is suitable and compatible to the vessel electrical supplies.</li>
<li>Check that the above equipment complies with Rules and Regulations for electric equipment.</li>
<li>Maintaining a spare part stock for electric/electronic equipment.</li>
<li>Maintain a detailed log where all maintenance is recorded.</li>
