As Vaccines Medical Manager, you will be responsible for using science to convert Vaccines into Vaccination and Improving accessibility to GSK vaccines in Egypt. This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, these responsibilities include some of the following… Medical Affairs Provide scientific and technical expertise of the highest standards in interactions with Key External Experts (KEEs), Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), Authorities and in response to local medical information as par GSK guideline Provide medical and scientific input and information to support business strategy development and execution in Egypt. Develop and sustain credible network with appropriate Key stakeholders, EPI team, Medical experts (NITAG members) and the decision makers such as Ministry of Health (MoH) and its staff involved in vaccine and immunization space in Egypt In line with GSK policies, plan, facilitate and conduct CMEs, symposia, trainings, workshops, scientific meetings, speakers' tours, and other medical and product specific campaigns and deliver scientific presentations with consistent messages for key products at these meetings as needed. Create, review and approve promotional, non-promotional and training materials in compliance with GSK policies and local regulations. Support in feasibility assessment of potential research sites, develop concept notes, proposals, budgets, data collection and monitoring tools for field studies. Build and maintain relationships with external experts, KOLs and members of various medical societies. Clinical R&D Activities: Support in study planning, protocol review, site feasibility, regulatory approvals; medical monitoring and publications as deemed appropriate, of vaccine clinical studies for phase I IV and PMS in studies sponsored by GSK. Serves as the Local Medical Lead (LML) for all ongoing GSK vaccines studies in Egypt as may be assigned. Pharmacovigilance: Support Named Safety contact in strengthening of Vaccine Pharmacovigilance. Why you? Basic Qualifications: We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals: Essential Requirements: University Bachelor's degree of Medicine. Preferred: Post graduate qualification in Pediatrics, Pharmacology or Public Health. 2 to 3 years of experiences, working in pharmaceutical industry, managed care, medical affairs and/or conduct of clinical trials and medical monitoring. Excellent written and oral communication skills in English & local language. Quick learner and has well-demonstrated ability to understand scientific methods and experimental design. Quality and accountability, business focus, high level of advanced communication skills including multilingual skills, decision making skills, developing others, group leadership, collaboration and partnership skills with ability to influence others, project management, strategic thinking, teamwork within matrix environment. Problem solving skills. Multitasking and prioritization with focus on the project, negotiation & time management skills Understanding decision making process, strategic & influential leadership skills. Excellent communication skills, with high ability to convey messages successfully to sales force/physicians Very good administrative skills to be able to handle ample documents and papers. Preferred Requirements: Ability to gather insights for business planning and programming. Training competencies to disseminate scientific and product information with others. Team worker to achieve business objectives and reach common organizational goals. Experience of presenting scientific topics at different settings. An excellent understanding of the principles and practice of ICH-GCP and internal SOPs. Experience in Safety Evaluation and Risk Management department as Safety Physician. Good awareness of the full medical value of vaccines in private market and UMV programs. Author/ Co-author for scientific papers. Why GSK?
