Our Intervention and Workover Control Systems (IWOCS) & Production Hydraulic Power Unit (PHPU) Centre of Excellence is providing standard and bespoke solutions to meet customer needs globally.<br><br><b>Partner with the best</b><br><br>As a Lead Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing , developing and testing Embedded Software (Firmware), platforms and systems that control and run on devices that are tailored to the needs of the hardware ie motors, alternators, engines, valves, fans, and other devices and products.<br><br>As a Lead Software Engineer, you will be responsible for:<br><ul><li>Managing, designing (software) tools for use by engineering teams to design, test, measure, and validate systems and sub-systems which contains hardware, embedded software (and possibly also software).</li><li>Developing new solutions under guidance and/or in a team setting or based upon precedents in the organizations.</li><li>Specifying needs, communicating about project approach and presenting outcomes of research done.</li><li>Writing of documents / procedures: System Functional Design Specification, Control System Functional Design, Specification Cyber Security Risk Assessment</li><li>Conducting Test Procedure PLC / HMI programming and testing</li><li>Being responsible for Data Network design and configuration</li></ul><br><br><b>Fuel your passion</b><br><br>To be successful in this role you will:<br><ul><li>Have a Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college or relevant proven experience in Engineering/Technology</li><li>Have proven experience in programming</li><li>Have basic understanding of electronics, sensor technology and mechanics, EHS and QA</li><li>Possess interpersonal and leadership skills and be able to lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact</li><li>Have the ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously and have an effective problem identification and solution skills</li><li>Have a proven analytical and organizational ability</li><li>Have a good language and communication skills in English (Norwegian would be advantageous)</li></ul><br><br><b>Work in a way that works for you</b><br><br>We recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
