Construction Coordinator

<b> Overview / Responsibilities </b><br><br>Wood is currently seeking a <b>Senior Construction Coordinator</b> for one of our project sites near Gogama, ON. If you have a successful track record and thrive in a fast- paced environment, this opportunity is for you.<br><br>This position is a fly-in/fly-out work rotation (14 x 14 -12 hours per day). <br><br><b>Key Responsibilities</b><br><ul><li>Establish and monitor contract budgets and schedules, including hourly rate and firm price contracts;</li><li>Supervise and coordinate the work of multiple contractors on site with respect to safety, quality of work, and adherence to applicable codes, standards, design documents and site standards;</li><li>Ensure that Wood and client safety, health, and environment (HSE) programs are implemented and adhered to at all times;</li><li>Monitor schedule and quantities of work completed, identify mitigation strategies where required; and</li><li>Participate in the turnover process by assembling completion checklists and other construction records</li></ul> <br><br><b> Skills / Qualifications </b><br><br><ul><li>Minimum of 10 years of multi-discipline construction experience on large scale, heavy industrial projects in an EPC/EPCM environment;</li><li>Trade qualifications with proven experience in construction civil, piping and concrete activities;</li><li>Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications</li><li>Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to work in a team environment</li><li>Authorization to lawfully work in Canada without sponsorship from Wood</li></ul> <br><br><b> Company Overview </b><br><br>Wood is a global leader in engineering and consultancy across energy and the built environment, helping to unlock solutions to some of the world's most critical challenges.
