Electronics Design Engineer

We focus on running formation evaluation, well integrity, intervention and perforating well site operations for the production of oil and gas.<br><br><b>Partner with the best</b><br><br>As a Electronics Design Engineer, you'll contribute to the design, fabrication, testing, and improvement of electrical components and systems. The chief focus is to meet oilfield logging tool operational needs as well as cost, reliability, and maintainability targets.<br><br><b>As a Electronics Design Engineer, you will be responsible for:</b><br><ul><li>Executing electronic systems designing and testing, data analysis, and performance optimization in the laboratory and field in close alignment with project leadership and other cross-discipline team members <br></li><li>Improving and maintaining electrical design, prototyping, and testing protocols, laboratories, and equipment <br></li><li>Improving and maintaining advanced power supply and electronic design, prototyping, and testing protocols, laboratories, and equipment <br></li><li>Contributing to documentation and change management processes for power and electronic components and systems development <br></li><li>Exemplifying compliance with all applicable health, safety, environment, and export control policies and regulations <br></li><li>Developing and protect of high-value intellectual property via patent submission <br></li></ul><br><br><b>Fuel your passion</b><br><br>To be successful in this role you will:<br><ul><li>Have considerable hands-on experience designing, prototyping and testing custom designed electronic boards <br></li><li>Have competency with electronics lab equipment for debugging and modification of surface mount electronic boards. Oscilloscope, logic analyzers, meters, soldering. <br></li><li>Have experience in design and optimization of digital and analog electronics for data acquisition, signal processing, and digital communication protocols <br></li><li>Have experience in sensor signal acquisition and signal processing approaches such as ADCs, DAC, preamps, series and parallel memory interfaces, histograms, FFT, digital filtering. <br></li><li>Have fluency with standard CAD and property/process simulation software: Altium Designer, Simetrix, LTspice, Matlab, Mathcad, Labview etc. <br></li><li>Have ideally had some experience in FPGA/CPLD and microcontroller firmware development skills using VHDL, embedded C, C++ <br></li></ul><br><br><b>Work in a way that works for you</b><br><br>We recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
