2 x Well Control Engineers

NES Fircroft are supporting one of our Oil & Gas clients with 1 x Well Control Engineer & 1 x Well Control Specialists roles in Kuwait.<br><br>These are permanent full-time opportunities, and you will be working a one month on / one month off rotation throughout. Our client is offering an attractive package, which includes an in-country day rate during your rotation, plus business class flights from your home country.<br><br>In order to be considered, you must have relevant experience in a similar role previously, along with an OGUK Medical & Well Control Certificate (IADCIWCF). <br><br>Key responsibilities - Well Control Engineer:<br><ul><li>Review daily drilling and workover reports and provide technical input for well control related issues</li><li>Monitor operations / fingerprinting from a well control perspective</li><li>Recommend well design changes to improve well control and testing procedures</li><li>Provide periodic reviews of client's well control activity</li><li>Capture well control lessons learned</li><li>Participate in DWOP, CWOP and pre-spud meetings as requested</li><li>Conduct well control equipment specification technical reviews, well control gap assessments & ongoing well control risk assessments</li><li>Recommend targeted training for well control competency</li><li>Support pressure control and well control operations</li><li>First responder and support the well control team on major events</li><li>Identify special services opportunities to rectify well problems</li><li>Special assignments per Team Leads or Drilling Manager</li></ul>Key responsibilities - Well Control Specialist:<br><ul><li>Conduct well control equipment pre-commissioning and operational audits</li><li>Well control readiness drills</li><li>Kick drill assessments</li><li>Site well control competency & risk assessments</li><li>Identify well control optimization & equipment testing optimization opportunities</li><li>Identify special services opportunities to rectify well problems</li><li>Support pressure control operations</li><li>Manage minor releases in coordination with and assistance from Senior Well Fire Control Engineers</li></ul>If you feel you are suitable for either role, please apply and your application will be reviewed against both.<br /><br />With over 90 years' combined experience, NES Fircroft (NES) is proud to be the world's leading engineering staffing provider spanning the Oil &amp; Gas, Power &amp; Renewables, Infrastructure, Life Sciences, Mining, Automotive and Chemicals sectors worldwide.With more than 100 offices in 45 countries, we are able to provide our clients with the engineering and technical expertise they need, wherever and whenever it is needed.
