System engineer - simulation/modeling (e-Mobility)

To find out more about us check: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=baa_aiJ4L7E Eaton is looking for an experienced System engineer for simulation/modelling activities within e-Mobility projects (AC/DC Electric vehicle chargers).You will be part of our Energy Transition Division at the Eaton European Innovation Center in Prague - Roztoky (EEIC), Czech Republic. In this role the person will participate on all validation phases of the project development lifecycle (RQs review & analysis, test plan definition, test suite creation, test plan execution, regular contacts with project stakeholders). Based on gained experience and skillset the final role/responsibility can be adjusted accordingly. Additional details will be provided with pleasure during our initial interview. For better understanding of our project and used environment the following keywords can be mentioned: e-Mobility, EV chargers, NI TestStand & LabView, Hardware-in-Loop, Modbus, OCPP, RS485, RS232, high/low voltage systems & measurement, Jira… Your main responsibilities: Develop and maintain 1-D simulation models for Hardware in Loop test benches Integration of simulation models to the automation test framework Test & validate given AC/DC EV Charger components or the whole system (with preferred focus on automation) Continuously work on development/improvement of applied validation processes and used tools Together with the test manager define most suitable test approach, create test suite and execute required tests Be a part of our team responsible for validation-related deliverables to other stakeholders Qualifications Your essential skills we are looking for: Bachelors/master’s in electrical/electronics, mechatronics, software engineering or equivalent Proven experience with simulation/modelling of electronics components preferably using NI tools like Labview, but other experiences like Matlab/Simulink, Amesim etc. are also welcome Experience with CAN, Modbus, power electronics, measurement/analysis tools Good spoken English capabilities What we offer to you: ¨ Challenging projects in dynamic collaborative team Flexible working solutions (home office, remote, flexible working hours, part time etc.) are implemented across different EMEA locations, check out with the site HR what type of flexible working solution is available for this role.
