Tasks and Responsibilities include: Service and maintain production tooling based on the production plan Problem-solve and support production when tooling breakdowns and issues occur Fabricate machined components (jigs, fixtures, tooling parts) when required to specification Play an active role in continuous improvements, projects, and on-site goals Communicate and liase with other departments Adhering to all on-site health and safety policies and procedures Housekeeping duties; sustaining and improving level of 5S in the department Required: Time served Machinist or Toolmaker Proficient in the use of; Milling machines, surface grinders, lathes Previous experience in a manufacturing environment Punch and die tooling experience advantageous Extrusion tooling and process experience advantageous Initial working hours Day shift: Monday to Thursday 08:00 – 16:30, Friday 08:00 – 13:30 Outlook to move onto rotating shifts Week 1 Mornings: Monday to Thursday 06:00 – 14:00, Friday 06:00 – 11:00 Week 2 Afternoons: Monday to Thursday 14:00 – 22:00, Friday 11:00 – 16:00 Why us?
