We support our clients by addressing the challenges of achieving appropriate standards of control, efficient back office opportunities and support to the business through insight and challenge.<p>As a Senior Associate, you’ll work as part of a team of transformation practitioners with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients reshape their finance functions to meet the needs of the future business.</p><p></p><p>Successful candidates must be able to demonstrate that they can manage multiple tasks on projects. They would also need to have the capacity to take on greater responsibilities as they develop within the firm. They should be of an intellectually curious mindset and interested in continually developing their professional and technical skills. We would expect you to gain a broad range of experience before deciding whether to specialise in a specific area. Many projects give you the opportunity to work in multidisciplinary teams or with people from our network firms overseas.</p><p></p><p>Finance Consulting is a successful and fast growing team of over 200 people that has already established a strong reputation in the marketplace. We help to address the challenges of achieving increasingly demanding standards of control and reporting whilst continuously driving for efficiency and performance improvement.</p><p></p><p>Our delivery work can include:</p><p></p><p>● Finance vision, strategy and operating models</p><p>● Finance and multi-function shared services /outsourcing</p><p>● Finance organisation design including developing future workforce models with remote working, virtual works, virtual teams</p><p>● Finance function process improvement including digital process modelling, automation, workflow, RPA</p><p>● Supporting cost reduction exercises, with robust benefit realisation plan</p><p>● Benchmarking the finance function</p><p>● Enterprise performance management including planning, budgeting and forecasting</p><p>● Finance IT strategy - including embedding applicable digital technologies</p><p></p><p>Joining our team as a Senior Associate, we would expect you to have experience of large change projects, preferably within a major blue chip or consulting environment.</p><p></p><p>You will have been supporting decision making and be able to demonstrate a track record of implementation success, achieving benefits and overcoming various challenges. Significant FS sector experience is essential.</p><p></p><p><b>Required Skills &amp; Experience</b></p><p></p><p>- Demonstrated external consulting experience or equivalent transferable skills in finance change and transformation</p><p>- Financial services experience</p><p>- A delivery track record of leading workstreams within complex Finance transformation projects,</p><p>- An understanding of standard Finance systems such as EPM and ERP</p><p>- Demonstrated ability to advise client management on alternative options, solutions and risks with experience of presenting and influencing</p><p>- 3-4 years of relevant experience</p><p>- Strong communication skills</p><p>- Logical and quantitative mind-set, with the ability to demonstrate a structured approach to problem solving</p><p>- Ambitious and self-motivated with the ability to work with limited supervision</p><p>- Demonstrate that you stay abreast of industry and technology developments</p><p>- Potential to develop strong people management, client handling and development skills, including inter-personal sensitivity and influencing skills</p><p>- Strong project and financial management skills</p><p>- Strong technical, problem identification and analytical skills - with demonstrable experience in at least one of these areas</p><p></p><p><b>Desirable skills &amp; experience</b></p><p></p><p>- Experience of the impact of regulations on finance in FS (e.g. IFRS 17, IFRS 9, Solvency II, Basel III, SOx, GDPR)</p><p>- Data architecture, data management, chart of accounts design</p><p>- Systems architecture for finance systems</p><p>- Robotics process automation and other disruptive technologies</p><p>- A formal accounting or business qualification or equivalent understanding of accounting principles, e.g. ACA/ACCA/CIMA/MBA</p><p>- Experience of a Lean approach to process / cost optimisation</p><p>- Previous experience in finance role gained from within a finance department</p><p></p><br /><p><strong>Consulting</strong><br />In Consulting we deliver practical, far-sighted advice that gets straight to the heart of clients&rsquo; business issues and delivers amazing results by helping our clients improve the way they operate, reduce costs, manage risks, leverage talent or fundamentally change the way they do business, the work you do will be all about helping organisations of all shapes and sizes work smarter and grow faster.
