We are seeking multiple Consultants and/or Senior Consultants to strengthen our Management Consulting practice in the Toronto office. Experience and background will determine what role is the best fit for each candidate. We are looking for talented professionals like you, with a proven record for motivating teams and delivering exceptional, meaningful client service. What you will do As a Consultant or Senior Consultant in our Operations Advisory practice, focusing on government and public sector clients, you’ll be learning from some of the best in the industry and growing your personal skillset by: Building your qualitative and quantitative expertise by delivering high quality results on time and proactively identifying and resolving project issues. Working closely with clients / stakeholders and facilitate workshops to understand policy issues and challenges and help chart a path forward Providing expertise and knowledge on client-related business activities and projects such as public sector modernization and transformation, funding models and stakeholder management Taking accountability for high quality written client deliverables and/or presentations tailored to client needs and generating value Supporting client pursuits business development efforts including preparing proposals and leading presentations to senior executives. Building long-term business relationships with senior client personnel and executives through engagements and networking in professional organizations. Working with other members of the Government Practice to understand, enhance and integrate service offerings across Operations, build a culture of success and be part of a high performing team What you bring to the role Demonstrated interest and passion in working with government clients and helping them solve their challenges. Inherent flexibility to work in other sectors as required. A university degree in a related discipline (Business, Economics, MBA or equivalent) Experience in consulting / government sectors or working closely with government: Consultants: 1-2 years Senior Consultants: 3-5 years Comfortable working at both the conceptual and the hands-on level with big picture thinking Demonstrated experience working with data, inferring insights from data and briefing senior leaders on insights and recommendations Experience with financial analysis, data modelling, securing expense efficiencies and/or process mapping / re-engineering. Demonstrated ability to communicate and translate complex ideas and recommendations in reports and presentations for senior level audiences Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively in teams, as demonstrated by strong internal or client references. A professional designation (CA, CGA, CMA, PMP, CMC) is considered an asset, but not essential.
