At <b>Eni</b>, we are looking for a Junior Compliance Analyst within Finance &amp; Control in Basra. You will be responsible for Supports the Governance &amp; Compliance Manager on Internal Control over Financial Reporting requirements (i.e. Sarbanex Oxley Act [SOx], ICFR, FRA, ELC/PLC etc.) as well as in maintaining Eni Iraq&
39;s Regulatory System up to date (i.e. Compliant with HQ&
39;s requirements on the Regulatory System)<br />

<b>As a member of </b> <b>Governance &amp; Compliance team</b> <b> you will be responsible for </b> :</p>

<ul>
<li>Supporting the &
39;Governance &amp; Compliance Manager&
39; in a timely and pro-active manner by:</li>
<li>Assessing and Monitoring Eni Iraq&
39;s Internal Control over Financial Reporting system (SOx), including complete, accurate and timely record keeping.</li>
<li>Supporting the manager in reporting the outcomes of ICFR monitoring activities (e.g. CELC/ERICE)</li>
<li>Support the manager during ICFR Audits (ICFR/SOx) by External/Internal Auditors [ICFR: Internal Control over Financial Reporting]</li>
<li>Support on self-assessments and related action plans monitoring</li>
<li>Supporting on implementing and updating Eni Iraq&
39;s Regulatory System - Finance &amp; Control (adoption of MSG&
39;s / Procedures / OPI / Best Practices)</li>
<li>Keeping track and monitoring of timely implementation of action plans</li>
<li>Supporting the manager on Internal Assessments/Audits/Projects when required.</li>

<li>Relevant working experience working for one of the Big four or a similar role in an international company</li>
<li>Education: Bachelor&
39;s degree in Accounting / Business Administration or any related discipline.</li>
<li>A Master degree, ACCA / CPA or equivalent</li>
<li>Fluency in written and spoken English &amp; Arabic (advantage also Italian)</li>
</ul>
