Find out more: Annual Report 2021 Medical Scientific Expert As Medical Scientific Expert, you will provide authoritative opinion within a therapeutic area on medical, scientific, and ethical matters to support GSK Switzerland, enabling the evidence-based use of GSK medicines. You will effectively develop strategic relationships with external experts in specialty therapeutic areas. Based on global medical strategies, you will develop local strategic and operational integrated plans in collaboration with Brand Managers. In this role you will… Work closely with commercial colleagues on brand planning (including launches) Generate the medical strategic and operational plan. Define activities based on insights from Medical Scientific liaisons (MSL) and customer needs Medical operational plan execution: work closely together with Medical scientific liaison to make sure activities are executed Responsibility for medical activities: advisory board meetings, scientific workshops, expert meetings, CME meetings, medical booths at congresses, specific projects Develop tools (slide decks, materials) for MSL regarding our science and scientific data as appropriate for business and customer needs Respond on medical information requests Training for sales force and MSL Develop network in therapeutic area across Switzerland and within GSK (in country and above country) Keep up to date knowledge of the therapy areas by reviewing literature, discussions with External experts and meetings with MSL Why you? Qualifications & Skills: University degree in relevant scientific subject Experience in severe asthma, respiratory, immunology or COPD Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar position (e.g., Medical Scientific Expert, Medical Advisor, Medical Manager, Brand Manager (with scientific background in therapeutic area), MSL) Fluent German and English, speaking and writing Preferred: PhD, Pharmacist, M.D. Experience in working in the pharmaceutical industry Fluent in French Business acumen *LI-GSK
